According to VS Energy shareholder Vilis Dambiņš, the Russian assault on Khersonoblenergo has caused losses of over UAH 2 billion. Dambiņš asserts that, "Russia must be held to account for every minute of this unprovoked, barbarous and heinous war. I back the stand taken by president of my country, Egils Levits, regarding the need to establish an international tribunal to punish Putin and all his cohorts and direct perpetrators of Russia's war against Ukraine."

Meanwhile, over the course of the war to date, Zhytomyroblenergo has collected and transferred aid worth more than UAH 23.5 million.
